Meet Kevin Griffiths, Official Town Crier to Skipton, Gateway to The Yorkshire Dales, and The City of Bradford. Kevin was born in Skipton & has lived & worked in the area for most of his life. I say most of his life because he has recently spent three years in Cornwall where he was Town crier to Bude & Stratton. A very colourful character, in more ways than one, Kevin is a well known & well respected Fellow of The Loyal Company of Town Criers. He can promote your business or launch a new product in his own inimitable way. Kevin is ranked very highly amongst criers & has taken part in numerous competitions throughout the UK & abroad. Winner of several prestigious awards for his town crying prowess, he is the holder of many trophies. Kevin began town crying in Barnoldswick at the turn of the millennium & has travelled the World, promoting his town through competition & carrying out commercial work. He has worked with numerous TV & sports personalities on commercial projects. Kevin can certainly get any message across, his logo being “ONCE HEARD NEVER FORGOTTEN”. Seen many times on TV, including The X Factor, Russell Howard’s Good News and many news programs, he has also been heard on radio stations throughout the land.
